How Your Jewellery Is Made

Every piece of our jewellery is designed and handcrafted in our workshop in Berkshire, UK, with a focus on quality and craftsmanship. We create our pieces using a combination of traditional and modern techniques — from hand fabrication and CAD to lost-wax casting. For casting, we work with a small, trusted company in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, who use recycled silver and gold. For select processes such as stone setting and hand engraving, we collaborate with skilled UK-based artisans to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.

Precious Metals

All of our jewellery is made with recycled silver and gold. This recycled metal is sourced from industries such as jewellery, giftware, and electronics. Our suppliers have not purchased newly mined silver or gold in over five years, nor is metal sourced from conflict affected areas. Both our bullion supplier and casting partner are certified members of the Responsible Jewellery Council. Any leftover silver or gold from our workshop processes is collected and either reused or recycled, ensuring nothing goes to waste.

Gemstones

Gemstone traceability can be complex, but we are committed to making responsible choices. More gemstones are becoming available which are mined responsibly, and are traceable to their origin. We source our gemstones through UK-based suppliers and aim to select stones with known provenance wherever possible. Our diamond supplier adheres to the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, which aims to prevent conflict diamonds from entering the market. We also offer select pieces made with lab-grown diamonds as this becomes a popular alternative to natural diamonds.

Packaging

Your jewellery will arrive in eco-friendly packaging. The outer box and paper tape are recyclable, while our tissue paper and branding stickers are biodegradable. We make every effort to reuse and recycle packaging materials within our studio. For orders over £1,000 your jewellery is presented in a handcrafted wooden box made from a solid block of timber, responsibly sourced from sustainably managed forests.
