How long will my order take to make?
Most pieces are made to order. For silver jewellery, please allow 5-7 working days to create your piece. Some pieces like gold rings take longer to make, so please refer to individual product descriptions for information. Please note that during the Christmas period processing times may be longer. Postage times vary depending on your country. Please refer to the shipping policies link at the bottom of the page for more information. If you are in a rush for your order, please get in touch, we will do our best to accommodate shorter deadlines.
How is my jewellery made?
All jewellery is handmade in our UK based workshop, and are cast in recycled silver and gold. Gemstones are sources from reputable suppliers in the UK and overseas. Our jewellery is made by hand by carving jeweller’s wax and casting into precious metals. Each piece is finished, set, and polished by hand.
Sizing details
When buying rings, please select your rings size from the drop down menu before adding to your cart. We offer half sizes; please get in touch with your requests. If you are unsure of your ring size, please check before buying- most jewellery shops will measure your ring size for free.
If you require ring resizing after purchasing, this is done free of charge for rings without gemstones. Rings with gemstones may need to be laser welded which costs £50. It is advisable not to go beyond 2 ring sizes when sizing rings up or down.
Do you take commissions?
Yes. we make one-of-a-kind pieces on request. We design and make your pieces based on your ideas and inspiration, and source gemstones of your choice. Commissions are nature-inspired, and are made in gold (no silver commissions at present). The process starts with drawings and the piece is carved and cast in the gold of your choice. The commission process takes 8-10 weeks. Prices start at £1000 for pieces without gemstones, and £2000 for jewellery with gemstones. Please email info@ericamarianne.co.uk for more information.
Jewellery Care Instructions
Our jewellery is handmade with quality materials, and with the best possible care should last a lifetime. Here are a few tips to help look after your jewellery. Jewellery should always be taken off when you go to bed, as this is when jewellery, rings especially, can catch or warp due to movement and changes in temperature. Do not wear your jewellery or rings when cleaning or engaging in physical activity. Direct conact with perfumes, lotions and hair products can react with jewellery and cause it to tarnish; for this reason cosmetic products should be applied before putting your jewellery on. Water can damage your jewellery, so please take your jewellery off before showering or swimming. Store your jewellery in your gift box, or wrap it in acid-free tissue paper, and store away from sunlight and humidity.
To clean your jewellery, you can submerge it in some warm water with a few drops of gentle washing up liquid added to it (like Ecover), use a soft child's toothbrush to gently clean it, including the gemstones and the underside of the stone settings. Gently dry the ring with a soft towel and then leave to air dry for a few hours before wearing again. I offer a free jewellery polishing and cleaned service for customers (gold jewellery and commissioned pieces only). Please get in touch to arrange having your jewellery cleaned and polished.
